YEAR 1
Immersive Arabic

Nahw

The science of syntax is one of the fundamental branches of Arabic grammar which deals with words, phrases, compounds and sentence structures.

​The science of morphology is that branch of Arabic grammar which deals with, verbs, etymology and morphological inflections.

Adab

​Arabic literature is an advance form of language that allows the student to read, write and understand literary texts.

Tajweed & reading

​This module will allow a student to read the Quran with confidence, correct pronunciation and fluency. It will also allow the student to read any Arabic text without diacritics and with the correct application of grammar.

Spoken arabic

​Speaking will not only build the students confidence but also allow them to understand and converse with others in Arabic.

Students will explore the life of the Prophet through classical texts and in-house course notes.

Aqidah

Students will be taught the theological positions of the Sunni belief system as well as the variant schools.

Foundations of Islamic Sciences

Fiqh

Students will be introduced to Islamic law using a classical Arabic text based on the Hanafi madhab.

Usul al-fiqh

Students will build foundations in the principles of Islamic jurisprudence using a basic Arabic text.

Students will be introduced to the science of Hadith using a well-known hadith compilation.

Students will build the foundations on Hadith terminology and principles using an Arabic primer.
