Spend a year learning the language of the Quran on the Arabic Awakened Programme. We have designed this comprehensive course to fit the needs of those who have full time responsibilities. You are required to attend on-site just once a week and upon completion, you will progress on to studying classical Arabic texts. A busy routine is no longer an issue as we have spent time to fit the course around you!

We are offering around 460 classroom hours which gives you enough time to allow yourself to absorb the language with the necessary support. You will also be offered regular online evening tutorials which are recorded to help support your learning.

Our aim is to guide you to begin your journey to study the Arabic language with a schedule in which you are not forced to compromise on your work/study schedule.

Overview

The Arabic Awakened programme is an intensive Sunday course, which runs over the course of a year, designed meticulously by advanced students of Islamic Sciences and graduates of the Arabic Language.

​At Q-Iman we have a passion to teach the Arabic Language and have taken our drive to produce a course that delivers Arabic to students who cannot commit to a full-time course. Students will be required to attend once a week, every Sunday, at our London campus for a whole day of Arabic studies. The modules encompass different aspects of Arabic; ranging from grammar, to recitation, to application and speaking.

The course is divided into three terms and forty weeks of onsite or online learning, over the course of one year. However, Q-Iman has taken a further step to supplement student education by launching online workshops, that students will be able to participate in to support their learning. Although core lessons will run on Sundays, the evening workshops will run throughout the week during the evenings online, for the convenience of students who may be occupied with work or other study programmes.​

Structure

The Academic year begins during September 2024 and ends during July 2025. A total of 40 Sundays have been reserved for on-campus learning for each year. Students will attend from 9am - 6pm every Sunday resulting in 460 hours of contact time between the student and teacher each year.

Fees

At Q-Iman we understand that sometimes fees can be an obstacle to a student’s learning, so we have gone through a tedious process of cutting costs to the bear minimum and provide a value for money programme, which offers a high-quality course for the lowest possible price.
The total cost of the Arabic Awakened programme for the academic year 2024/2025 on-site is £1,590.

​We appreciate that some students may struggle to pay their fees, so we have offered three options for students to choose from. However, if students do pay the full fees upfront, we are offering a 5% discount off the total course fees.

About Us
Q-Iman was established in the summer of 2015 where we began by offering part-time Arabic beginner courses to adults. Despite the low attendance of our courses at first, our courses slowly became more popular in which we decided to expand our teaching to facilitate the demand of other topics such as Fiqh and Seerah. In 2017 We launched our first cohort of the highly successful 1-year Arabic Awakened Programme which sold out due to high demand and went on to introduce the Islamic Sciences Diploma in the following year allowing our students to use their Arabic skills to study various Islamic sciences including Fiqh, Hadith and Tafsir using classical Arabic books. Our students then went on to the Specialisation Programme where they choose one area to focus on throughout the year and explore complex topics in detail. Our Annual Programmes have proved to allow students with full time responsibilities to study Arabic and Islamic sciences in-depth to an advanced level.

Throughout the academic year we hold student trips to maximise your learning.

We hold an annual spiritual retreat where students spend time over the course of a weekend with their teachers allowing them to take time out and reflect.

Our Annual Programmers collectively equate to a traditional 'Alimiyyah programme in which students start their studies as beginners and complete their course as an advanced student, allowing them to progress on to independent research or a higher academic stage.
