The Dawrah al-Hadith Programme is an advanced two-year programme dedicated to the study of the major Hadith collections and the sciences connected to them. The course is intended for students who have completed substantial Arabic and Islamic studies and are seeking to further their understanding through the detailed study of the traditions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

At Q-Iman, we have developed the Dawrah al-Hadith Programme to make advanced Islamic study accessible to students who are unable to commit to full-time overseas seminaries, whilst still maintaining a serious and rigorous standard of education. The programme is delivered through weekly onsite study at our London campus alongside supplementary online sessions and evening lessons throughout the week.

Students study major Hadith compilations alongside the principles and methodologies used by the scholars of Hadith in understanding, analysing, and deriving benefit from narrations. The programme aims to strengthen a student’s connection to the Sunnah whilst developing precision in understanding the language, meanings, chains of transmission, and legal and spiritual implications of Hadith literature.

Alongside the academic study of Hadith, the programme seeks to cultivate reverence for the Sunnah, refinement of character, and a deeper appreciation of the sacrifices and efforts of the scholars who preserved this tradition throughout Islamic history. Through structured study, mentorship, and discussion, students are prepared to continue serving the community with sound knowledge, balance, and a strong attachment to the Prophetic tradition.
