We are pleased to launch our specialist two-year hadith programme which allows students to graduate with a recognised Sanad of Sahih al-Bukhari. Students will learn from the six hadith books as well as other supporting texts. We have designed this comprehensive course to fit the needs of those who have full time responsibilities.

Students are required to attend on-site just once a week as well as two online evening lessons in the week to cover the course content. This is an intensive course which contains approximately 12 hours per week over the course of the academic year.

Overview

The Dawrah Al-Hadith programme is an intensive Sunday course, which runs over the course of two years, designed meticulously by experienced and qualified teachers of Islamic sciences.

At Q-Iman we have a passion to teach the traditional Islamic sciences and have taken our drive to produce a unique course that delivers a comprehensive Dawrah Al-Hadith programme to students who cannot commit to a full-time schedule. Students will be required to attend once a week, every Sunday, at our London campus for a comprehensive study of the six canonical books of Hadith plus the Muwatta' of Imam Malik, the Musnad of Imam Ahmad and the Sunan of Imam Darimi. During the weekday evenings, students will be required to attend live online sessions of a complete reading (Maqra') of Sahih Al-Bukhari from beginning to end.

Students will receive a certificate of Ijazah for Sahih al-Bukhari and the remaining six canonical books of Hadith. This Ijazah certificate will be the official Sanad link, chain of narration, to our beloved Prophet ﷺ.

The course is divided into two years, each year is divided into three terms and forty weeks of onsite learning with supplementary online lessons.

At Q-Iman we understand that sometimes fees can be an obstacle to a student’s learning, so we have gone through a tedious process of cutting costs to the bear minimum and provide a value for money programme, which offers a high-quality course for the lowest possible price.The total cost of the Arabic Awakened programme for the academic year 2025/2026 on-site is £1,650.

We appreciate that some students may struggle to pay their fees, so we have offered three options for students to choose from. However, if students do pay the full fees upfront, we are offering a 5% discount off the total course fees.

TEACHERS

Ustadh Farhan Mahmood

Farhan is one of the co-founders of Q-Iman which began in 2015. He completed his LLB in Law in 2009 and attained a distinction in an MSc in Management Consultancy in 2011. After gaining experience in Law he took the route to become a student of knowledge in 2013. After graduating from the Alimiyyah programme at Ebrahim College, he then completed the Dawrah Al-Hadith programme.

At Q-Iman he teaches Arabic Grammar, Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh

Ustadh Farhan Mahmood

Shaykh Mishkat Hasan

After completing his Hifdh at the age of 15, Shaykh Mishkat Hasan graduated from The Islamic University of Madinah in which he studied in the college of Shari'ah. He serves as an Imam at the London Central Mosque and the East London Mosque amongst many others. He is a Hajj & Umrah tour guide with Hasan Travels.

At Q-Iman he teaches spoken Arabic, Hadith, Mustalah al-Hadith and 'Aqidah

Ustadh Mishkat Hasan

Ustadh Jakir completed his Hifdh at a young age and has been leading Taraweeh for the last ten years. He graduated from the 'Alimiyyah programme at Ebrahim College and gained Ijazah in Dawrah al-Hadith. He currently works as a qualified engineer.

At Q-Iman he teaches Arabic grammar, Tafsir, and Tajweed.

Ustadh Jakir Miah

Ustadh Shakil is a graduate of the Alimiyyah programme at Ebrahim College, where he completed his studies of various disciplines in the Islamic Sciences under the tutelage of experienced teachers. He then completed the Dawrah Al-Hadith programme. He is currently a mental health professional.

At Q-Iman he teaches Ulum al-Quran and Seerah.
