Established 2015 — A Decade of Sacred Learning
Since 2015, Dar al-Iman, previously Q-Iman, has stood as a beacon of traditional Islamic scholarship in the heart of our community in East London.
What began as a vision to revive serious, structured Islamic education has grown into a respected institute dedicated to nurturing minds, refining character, and preserving sacred knowledge with excellence and integrity. For over a decade, we have committed ourselves to one mission:
To make authentic Islamic scholarship accessible, structured, and transformative.
At Dar al-Iman, we have worked hard to deliver a thorough and comprehensive intensive part-time course to allow working professionals, and university students, to study Arabic and Islamic sciences up to an advanced level. We have had two cohorts graduating from our unique 'Alimiyyah programme which now spans over a total of 8 years of study.

The purpose of our Annual Programmes is to ensure students can progress through their studies without sacrificing their full-time responsibilities, and therefore educating the muslim professionals who are advancing in their respective industries.

The Annual Programmes have been designed to work around a typical 9-5 schedule to cater for full-time workers and students who wish to learn Arabic and the key Islamic sciences in detail to an advanced, scholastic level. Our classes run on-site on Sundays from 09:00 - 18:00 with online sessions running on weekday evenings.

We firmly believe that students of knowledge who have a full-time vocations will be the most effective assets in our community and will have the biggest impact as they gain high-level Islamic knowledge whilst specialising in their respective fields of work.

Annual Programmes Graduation 2024
The first cohort of the Annual Programmes graduated as they completed their 'Alimiyyah with Q-Iman after 7 years of detailed study. Our students graduated with verified Sanads for Sahih al-Bukhari through numerous Hadith scholars including Shaykh Akram Nadwi.
